Sound familiar?
-
The directories do all the work
Most enquiries come through Psychology Today or the BACP directory, and you're one profile in a long list.
-
It doesn't feel like you
Your site looks clinical or a bit DIY, and doesn't give people a sense of what it's like to sit in the room with you.
-
Nobody nearby can find you
Search "counsellor near me" in your own town and you're nowhere to be seen.

/ Questions
Therapy website questions
Do I need a website if I'm already on Psychology Today?
Directories are great for being seen, but your own site is where people decide you're the right fit. It's yours, it can say much more than a profile, and it can rank in local search on its own.
Can clients book a session through the website?
Yes. We can set up Squarespace Scheduling or link the booking tool you already use, so people can book a free call or first session without any back and forth.
Is the contact form GDPR friendly?
We keep it short and ask only what you need to reply, never for clinical detail, and link a clear privacy notice. You stay in charge of how you store client notes outside the website.
Will people in my area be able to find me?
We set up every page for local search, link your Google Business Profile and show you how to keep it working. If you work online too, we cover that as well. More about our Squarespace SEO.
I'm not sure what to write. Can you help?
Lots of therapists find writing about themselves the hardest bit. We'll structure every page so it's clear what goes where, and if you'd like a hand with the words, we can introduce you to a trusted freelance copywriter.
How much does a therapist website cost?
From £1,200 for a starter build, or from £2,500 for a custom site or a move from another platform, with a fixed quote first and no annual fee to us. See all our prices.
